We Want You to Be a Part of This Annual Event The #StillServing campaign launched in 2020 to highlight the inspiring ways veterans continue to serve in communities across America. Since 2022, the movement has deepened its impact with the nationwide VFW Day of Service. The fourth annual VFW Day of Service kicks off on the first Saturday of May, May 3, 2025. That date marks the start of veteran-led community service projects to take place throughout the month. Are You Ready to Serve?
We’re asking VFW Posts, VFW members, community advocates and veterans of every stripe — patriots like YOU — to band together to host a community service event during the month of May to make a meaningful difference in your community.

A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where you served for years in Vietnam.  He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years.  He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country".  The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.
