Veteran and Community Connections Expo being held on September 14, 2024. It will be wonderful to inform the community about all of the amazing Federal, State and Community Resources that are available to Service Members, Veterans and their families.

Background:

We all share a sincere passion for serving Veterans and ensuring they are aware of the benefits and services available. Unfortunately, not all Service Members, Veterans and their family members know about the benefits they have earned, and some do not have solid connections within their community. These events aim to connect Service Members, Veterans, and their family members to Federal, State, and Community Resources. At the same time, they aim to connect Federal, State and Community Resource representatives with each other to expand networks, build partnerships and assist with improving referral services to one another.
During these events, participants can connect to mental health services, build rapport with representatives to assist with community ties, and learn about safe-storage options to eliminate Veteran suicide.

This event will be an outdoor event, much like the one we held in Caribou, ME at Spud Speedway.
