A Presidential proclamation has been released ordering the United States flag to be placed at half-staff on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from sunrise to sunset in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week, 2025. President Trump has called upon all Americans to observe these events with appropriate ceremonies and activities. In addition, as Police Week begins on May 11th through May 17th all Americans are encouraged to display the flag, at full staff, after sunset on the 15th, from their homes and businesses on the following days.
